Experience a 21-day Absolute Indochina tour that encompasses the very best of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. There are few regions in the world that can claim as rich a cultural and historic past as Indochina; the countries of Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia are home to some of the oldest temples in existence, the site of great humanitarian tragedy, and also spectacularly beautiful. This tour allows you to visit all of them over a period of 21 days, taking in the most special and unique sights that each one has to offer.


Day 1: Phnom Penh Arrival (D)


After touching down in Cambodia's capital, take a city tour to visit Wat Phnom, the bird place of the capital, the Royal Palace and the adjacent Silver Pagoda, National Museum, Tuol Museum the formally the Toul Svay Prey high school, in 1975, this became the interrogation and torture facility for the Khmer Rouge regime - at that time known as security prison 21. Visiting one of Phnompenh’s two great markets, the central market or sprawling Russian Market. Overnight in Phnompenh.


Day 2: Phnompenh - Siem Riep (B)


Catch a flight to Siem Riep. Your Angkor discovery trip begins with the Roulos group of temples before climbing the imposing hilltop temple of Phnom Bakheng to witness a truly memorable sunset. Overnight in Siem Reap.


Day 3: Angkor Complex and Angkor Thom (B, D)


Today you visit the fascinating ruins of Ta Prohm shrouded undergrowth and the roots of Banyan trees. From here we head for Banteay kdau and the nearby lake of Sras Sran the King's bath. In the afternoon start exploring Angkor Thom, the South Gate, and Bayon with 4 giant faces, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Dinner with Apsara show at local restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap.


Day 4: Angkor Wat Temples (B, L)


Following breakfast at hotel, you take a 45km drive to Pre Rup and The East Mebon, visit Bantaey Srei and Bantaey Kdei. Then you will visit The World Seventh Wonder Angkor Wat. Overnight in Siem Reap.


Day 5: Siem Reap - Sai Gon (B)


You enjoy another new day in this ancient land. Following breakfast you have 2 hour boat cruise on Tonle Sap LakE. Afternoon free at leisure or additional Siem Reap sightseeing until transfer for flight to Sai Gon. Overnight in Saigon.


Day 6: Sai Gon - Cu Chi (B, L)


Today you will visit all interesting sites and landmarks in Saigon City: Notre Dame Catholic Cathedral, Post Office, the Reunification Palace then we will visit the War Remnants Museum, which primarily contains exhibits relating to the American phase of the Vietnam War. In the afternoon, we drive to Cu Chi which never been discovered by American forces. Stretching over 200 km, this incredible underground network, dug by hand out of hard laterite, connected command posts, hospitals, shelter and weapon factories. Overnight in Saigon.


Day 7: Sai Gon - Vinh Long homestay (B, L, D)


This morning we set off for a drive through the Mekong Delta to the town of Cai Be, well-known for its whole sale floating market. We cruise along the maze of waterways and canals to Vinh Long, visiting Coconut candy Factory, enjoying Famous Folk- song Performance of Mekong Delta. Stop at the home of a Bonsai gardener continuing our exploration of the tributaries and canals of the delta. Overnight in homestay.


Day 8: Vinh Long - Can Tho (B, L)


Rising early to the sounds of the Delta coming to life for another day, you breakfast before boarding our riverboats once more for a cruise to Vinh Long town, stopping along the way to visit some local cottage industries, brick kilns. At noon time you disembark the boat for heading to Can Tho for overnight.


Day 9: Can Tho - Sai Gon (B, L)


You will take a boat trip to experience the Cai Rang floating market. Here each boat usually sells one particular item, whether it be pumpkins, pineapples, sugar cane etc. Following this you will rendezvous with your vehicle for a drive to the town of My Tho, where you visit the Dong Tam snake farm and the Vinh Trang pagoda before return to Sai Gon. Overnight in Saigon.


Day10: Sai Gon - Danang - Hoian (B)


Today you take flight to Danang. On the way to Hoi An a UNESCO-listed river-front town crammed with historic homes, tiny museums, cafes, and bustling silk and fish markets. You will stop to visit Buddhist cave temples on the Marble Mountains. Then, you will reach Hoi An known as Faifo to early Western traders, it was one of South East Asia's major international ports and today it still retains that special old- world feel. Overnight in Hoian.


Day 11: Hoian (B, L)


Enjoy a walking tours. Visit Japanese Cover Bridge, Sa Huynh Museum , Tran Family Chapter , Phuoc Kien Assembly, The temple is dedicated to Thien Hau (Goddess of the Sea) and visit one of the lantern workshop in Hoi An. Back to hotel and you will be free at leisure on the beach or wandering around the town for the rest of day. Overnight in Hoian.


Day 12: Hoian - Hue (B, L)


The destination for today is the old imperial city of Hue. Along the way you will travel over the Hai Van pass, stopping at the top to take in the stunning views north over Lang Co beach before arriving in Hue. A visit to Hue would not be complete without taking in attractions such as the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, the Imperial Museum and the Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.


Day 13: Hue City (B, L)


You board on a private boat for cruising the romantic Perfume River heading out for the countryside. Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of emperors past, and a visit to some of these tombs will be on the itinerary for today. The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop of the day. Leaving the pagoda you will take a drive to visit King Minh Mang's tomb and King Tu Duc's tomb. Overnight in Hue.


Day 14: Hue - Ha Noi (B)


Transfer to airport for morning flight to Hanoi. The colonial capital city Hanoi is a unique Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental pagodas and temples. Visit Vietnam’s artistic and intellectual capital. Explore the fascinating Old Quarter and its hundreds of specialty shops and impressive modern art in the city's many galleries. Overnight in Hanoi.


Day 15:Hanoi full day City tour (B, L)


Enjoy sightseeing tours to the city's landmarks such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on every Monday, Friday morning and every afternoon), One Pillar Pagoda, The Temple of Literature, the Hanoi's Ethnology Museum and its fascinating exhibitions about the diverse hill tribes in Vietnam and Hanoi Hilton Museum. Take cyclo tours around the Hanoi City's old quarters, water puppetry show in the end of the day. Overnight in Hanoi.


Day 16: Halong Bay (B, L, D)


In the morning you leave Hanoi for Ha Long Bay, we go through the scenic countryside. The wondrous Ha Long Bay is truly one of Vietnam's most impressive scenic sights. Cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Ha Long Bay with a chance to take in the stunning scenery of this World Heritage Site. Overnight on cruise.


Day 17: Halong Bay - Ha Noi (B, Brunch)


Rising to the sound of ocean coming to life for another lovely day. Junk boat once again sets sail through breathtaking secluded Ha Long bay. Back to Ha Long wharf and disembark, transfer back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.


Day 18: Ha Noi - Vientiane (B)


Transfer to airport for flight to Vientiane, Laos. Although it is a capital city, Vientiane has the feel of a small provincial town. The wide boulevards are almost devoid of traffic and with its many temples, the city retains the feel of another age. Our tour includes visits to the major temples of Vat Sisaket, Vat Phrakeo and the impressive That Luang Stupa, the country's most important monument. We will also see the Arch of Triumph, the National Museum. Overnight in Vientiane.


Day 19: Vientiane - Luang Prabang (B, L)


Morning flight to Luang Prabang. Visit Wat Xieng Thong, the most beautiful temple, we then take the traditional boat trip upstream on the Mekong River to visit the famous caves of Pak-Ou. We visit en route local rice-wine distillery and Ban Phanom weaving village. We then proceed to Wat Phousy on the top of the hill overlooking the Mekong River. Visit morning market, National museum and climb up the Phousi hill for overlooking the city. Overnight in Luang Prabang.


Day 20: Luang Prabang freeday (B)


An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms from the faithful residents. This tradition is very unique in Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the ritual. Today you enjoy a free day at leisure. Overnight in Luang Prabang.


Day 21: Departure


Enjoy your free time for souvenirs shopping until transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
